This 42 hour non-credit course provides learners with the skills required to select appropriate device(s) to meet system requirements, and to install, configure, and operate LANs, routed WANs, and switched networks. Learners explore Cisco IOS™, Virtual LANs (VLANS), Access Control Lists, Bandwidth on Demand (BOD), and Dial-on-Demand Routing (DDR), Point-to-Point (PPP), Frame Relay, and Fiber Distributed-Data Interface (FDDI). In conjuncture with CXNA101 (Networking Basics for Cisco), this course may assist the learner with their preparation for the Certified Cisco Networking Associate (CCNA) 640-802 exam. It is strongly recommended that students complete CXNA101 or have equivalent Cisco networking experience prior to taking this course.
Registered students will have access to Ryecast, a web streaming tool that captures lectures for on-demand viewing.
