The International Information Systems Security Certifications Consortium, Inc. (ISC)2 is a global organization offering a certificate recognizing an international standard for information security and a Common Body of Knowledge (CBK). Offering a unique Canadian perspective, this 42 hour non-credit course examines the ten information security (IS) domains, helping learners prepare for the CISSP certification exam. CBK topics include: Software Development, Telecommunications, Operations, Network and Environmental Security, Access Control, Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, and Cryptography. Students should have 5 years of practical experience in networking, systems administration, or information security (IS) prior to taking this course. Students are responsible for verifying their CISSP experience certification requirements at (www.isc2.org).

Registered students will have access to Ryecast, a web streaming tool that captures lectures for on-demand viewing.
