Building on the technology and methods applied in CXCP663 (HTML and Cascading Style Sheets) and CXCP673 (JavaScript), this 42 hour non-credit course provide learners with the skills required to create rich user experiences in the latest browsers while expanding the capabilities of older browsers. Topics include Ajax, Web 2.0, and cross-platform web application development using advanced JavaScript techniques, as well as jQuery, the powerful JavaScript framework. It is strongly recommended that students complete CXCP663 AND CXCP673 or have equivalent HTML and JavaScript experience prior to taking this course.

Registered students will have access to Ryecast, a web streaming tool that captures lectures for on-demand viewing.
