Building on the networking skills acquired in CXIT421 (Network Administration for Microsoft), this Windows 2008 Infrastructure and Active Directory Planning 42 hour non-credit course provides students with the knowledge and skills to develop, implement, and troubleshoot an Active Directory infrastructure. Topics include TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and WINS functioning within single and multi-domain environments and structures. Learners manage AD replications and operations masters, and maintain AD availability. It is strongly recommended that students complete CXIT401 AND CXIT421 or have equivalent network administration experience prior to taking this course.
This course uses Server 2008.
Registered students will have access to Ryecast, a web streaming tool that captures lectures for on-demand viewing.
