In this 42 hour non-credit course that builds on the Dreamweaver component taught in CXCP185 (Creative Suite for the Web), learners use the jQuery framework and the powerful HTML5/CSS3 tools to enhance webpage interactivity to build sites for modern browsers. Dreamweaver`s powerful and dynamic site creation tools are used to create large, robust, standards-compliant, cross-media websites for platforms ranging from desktop computers to mobile phones and tablets. It is strongly recommended that students complete CXCP663 AND CXCP185 or have equivalent HTML/CSS and Dreamweaver experience prior to taking this course. The completion of CXCP673 or equivalent JavaScript experience would be beneficial.

Registered students will have access to Ryecast, a web streaming tool that captures lectures for on-demand viewing.
