NOTE: This course has been updated for the Winter 2013 term. This 42 hour non-credit course introduces learners to SQL (Structured Query Language), a standard data-oriented language used to generate, manipulate, and retrieve information from a relational database. Learners explore the relational database model and obtain hands-on experience writing SQL statements and working with data. It is strongly recommended that students be familiar with the Windows environment and have experience using a desktop application comfortably prior to taking this course.
PLEASE NOTE: This course will meet in lab VIC404A.
